Comment posted on Finding Great Domain Names With Google Keyword Tool by Mike Gates

Amanda, good points.

Oliver, you’re right it does take work. I look for domains for this method after I have found a promising niche, then a promising keyword.

Then as you state – you have to create good content for the site, and get traffic to the site.

This post is just really about finding the domain piece.

If you want more info on finding the right niche and keywords, I suggest you give the free 30 Day Challenge a look.

  • Flock – The Web 2.0 Browser
    Joe,
I know a lot of normal users will never leave IE just because that is the default browser, and they see no need to change.

Anyone who is doing any internet marketing, or is involved with social media should consider Firefox or Flock.

I learned about Flock from the 30 Day Challenge, which is in pre-season. The 30 DC starts August 1st, so I suggest getting signed up now – it’s completely FREE.

  • Ebay Feedback System Does it Again
There has been talk on the ebay forums, hoping a big player, like Google, would bring us a new auction home like ebay used to be. For now, I am trying Ewaey Auctions http://www.ewaey.com/?ref=102152

Not a lot of traffic yet, but they are growing. They are offering no fees for life to the first 5000 members, so you might want to grab a spot in case they become a big player.

If you know of other good auction sites, please post a comment here with the name, and link.

    Thanks Evan,

Wow – I am impressed that a representative from Flock would come here and respond to my post about their product.

I have seen them also post on the 30 Day Challenge forum about Flock concerns.

This is impressive and goes a long way to spreading good will and making people want to be a Flock fan :-)

P.S. I have about 3 different Sessions I that would load various sites I wanted to check daily. Since I don’t have session manager I don’t see how to do that.

  • Ebay Digital Products and Screwing A Large Portion of Their Sellers
    Hi J Price,
Sorry to hear how the ebay changes have affected you. I know ebay destroyed a number of full time businesses over night with this change.

As a digital product buyer, if you can’t send me a digital download, along with a physical product per ebay rules, I won’t shop on ebay for digital products.

It’ll be interesting to see how this turns out long term. Ebay is probably too big to have the change affect them much. But, there’s a part of me that wants them to lose their butts because of this change.
