I really hate virtual agents. I hate that they just are not as friendly as a real person. their voice is always the same no matter what they are saying to you. Nice Article!

Virtual agents can be useful as it can in some cases make someone who is ready to leave the site to become a buyer.

Depends on many factors, specifically the choice of ad.

Virtual agents NOT needed…they’re about as annooying as pop-up ads.

It’s bad enough you can barely get a real person on the phone,but to have a virual agent only adds more insult to a user’s experience. Virtual agents can’t “feel” what I’m saying.

I want a real live person or at least a very comprehensive FAQ page. I don’t need R2D2 unless he has an extra light saber for me to use!
