Following the Internet Marketing Gurus?
The longer I work in this strange business of internet marketing, the more skeptical I become of the big internet marketing “gurus”.
Probably like you, I am on way too many internet marketing lists. Like you, I get hammered with the product of the week, or the launch of the week and get emails from several of the gurus promoting the same product.
They are all just trying to outbid each other by offering the best bonus to get you to buy.
Don’t get me started on bonuses, you can see what I learned from “bonuses” here http://ecompeak.com/blog/Main/internet-marketing-bonuses-what-not-to-do
And, have you noticed that Tuesday seems to be the day of choice to launch new products?
Okay, I know there are the best days of the week to launch new products, and I know JV partners can make your product launch a success.
But I am getting tired of getting pitched the same products by all the gurus. Products with sales pages that really draw you in, so you purchase the product only to find you really don’t need it.
But you don’t ask for refunds because you don’t want to get the reputation of being a serial refund requester.
There is one “guru” that I really trust and follow now, because he tells it like it is, sometimes “hitting you between the eyes”.
He doesn’t promote every new product that comes out, in fact he is very selective on what he promotes.
Many times he will talk about a new launch, explain what can be learned from it, and how what you have through his TurboMembership provides you with the same information or concept.
This guru is John Delavera. This post about the importance of product creation, is a great example of how what John has to say that challenges you. Sometimes what he has to say makes you uncomfortable because he knows where you’re at and what you’ve been doing. He has a knack for bringing you back to reality, and helping you focus on what it’s going to take for long term success.
I can’t say that I don’t stray off the proven path that John has layed out from time to time. But John has a way of bringing me back to where I need to be.
His TurboMembership has been one of the best investments I have made in my internet marketing career. I have been a member for over two years now, and what I have learned is priceless.

Has anyone out there heard about WideCircles.com. It seems like a way better service then wasting money on PPC. Apparently they are using refering websites ( forums, blogs, wiki, etc. ) and have a viral word of mouth distributed approach to it. My friend told me he got around 100 visits from single post which cost him $0.40c. I am going to give them a try today . In case you are intrested here is it. http://widecircles.com?s=imt1
To me, PPC is a waste of money. I know alot of people is scared to buy links, but if u do it correctly and slowly it will pay off soon enough. Bum marketing is also worth doing, especially if u have the time to write plenty of articles.

@Szeged, dont take it personally. Avram Iancu was gay too! And Mihai Viteazu was a bastard showing no proper respect and tenderness to any of his boyfriends. Just like Pidjin. Happy now?
Yes, correctly.
