Sorry, it’s been a while since I’ve updated this blog. Here I am blogging about blogging consistency when I have been very inconsistent. Albert would be disappointed in me. Who is Albert?
Albert is one of my favorite bloggers, perhaps my favorite blogger.
I have been a reader of the Albert Hallado blog for a while now, and I have also commented on his blog a number of times. Today, Albert mentioned me in his blog post - thanks Albert!
Albert mentions one of the comments I made on one of his blog posts. I comment on Albert’s blog more than I do on any other blog.
Why do I comment on Albert’s blog? Because I like how Albert blogs, and I feel like I know him.
The things I really like about Albert Hallado and his blog, are his consistency and his “realness” - is that a real word?
We can all learn from Albert and the way he blogs. Albert preaches writing to your blog consistently, and he practices what he preaches.
Without fail, Albert posts to his blog every Tuesday and Thursday. Every Tuesday and Thursday I can expect to receive and email from Albert notifying me that he has updated his blog.
Even if it’s just short post to say that something came up and he won’t be doing a standard post, still I have never seen him miss a normal post day in the months that I have been following him.
Albert has trained me to expect a blog update from him every Tuesday and Thursday, and I look forward to those posts.
Now you know why I mentioned above that Albert would be disappointed in me, but he’s no more disappointed in me than I am in myself.
As I look to 2009, being a consistent blogger is one of my year long goals. I plan to pick two days a week to post to this blog, even if it’s just a short post to let my readers know I’m still here.
Because I seem to get distracted easily, it will me challenging for me, but I see the success Albert is experiencing with his blog due to his consistency, and that will be the inspiration for me.
I also like Albert relates to his readers on his blog.
Like I stated on Albert’s blog, I feel like I know him even though I have never met him. Most of his blog posts are about his specialties - blogging and web site templates. But, once in a while he will let us know some of the things that are going on in his life.
So, I feel like I know Albert as more than just a blogger, but as a real person. He makes it easy to relate to him because you think - hey, this guy is just like me.
So, another one of my goals for this blog will be to let you know more about me, and what’s going on in my life, in the coming months.
Do you have blogging goals for the coming year? If so, leave your comments and let me know what your goals are. Perhaps we can help hold each other accountable
P.S. You get a dofollow link back to your site by leaving a Quality, Related comment.

It can be difficult to blog consistently. With all that is going on in our lives it’s sometimes hard to sit down and get those creative writing juices flowing.
Good luck with your blogging goals for 2009:-)
HI,
Blogging consistency is as important as a traffic for a particular website. Consistency for a particular website doesn’t mean to post blog every day as by doing so the quality of the blog get’s deteriorated.Blog relationship also plays a vital role in the same.

I thought about starting a blog, but I know I would probably start out blogging daily, then weekly, then monthly, then not at all.
I know I have a short attention span and would not be a good blogger.
I still may give it a try in 2009
Blogging consistently perhaps is the most difficult but lovable phenomena on this planet and I am feeling very blessed when I find a blog with some fixed frequency of posts. Although I visit a lot of blog daily and find many new ones but there are a few who are able to keep me stay longer.
I think blogging consistency is a great idea, that way you don’t let down your readers when they are yearning for your next post. they need their fix, and if you don’t give it to them, there is probably someone else out there that will. good post.
It is the most difficult task to be consistent and accurate. Especially with blogging things. Perhaps we should post on our blogs atleast once a week to be known to the world.
I think at here we create huge traffic on our site by our this community(blogger). And by blog we always in touch with them.
There are many confusions and Hypes related to writing on blogs but I’ll say that there is nothing difficult. There is nothing to worry about keywords and titles. Just write what is on your mind and heart. This is freedom of blogging and writing.
Consistency on blogging is one way of driving a traffic on a site. According to my friend who is a good blogger, consistent blog post is more effective than directory submission and social book marking. Google algorithm is leading to the issue of relevancy this day. Meaning your post must have some sense on it.
Are people making some serious money with blogs or they do it just for fun ? I find it very hard to monetize that blogs more than anything else.
What do you think ?
I think consistency is important in your blog, both in what you write about and how often you blog. This should really help your blog to rank well if you do both of these.
A blog is a “living thing”, you must build content all the time to get a consistent stream of traffic.Your visitors are also expecting new content and if you cannot give it to them, they will go somewhere else.
Blogging consistently does have its advantages especially in bringing in more traffic to your blog. I know of one person who updates his blog at least seven times a day and he gets millions of traffic per day. I can’t do seven updates in a day, but I will try to do the twice a week update with you mike
Thanks for sharing this with us. I personally believe with blogging we create huge traffic and also we can update ourself.
Good Post. No doubt Blogs create huge traffic just that I really do not understand how people are earning through blogs.
Interesting articles sure do attract attention even if they are not written regularly as good pots will surelydraw attention.
Now you’ve hit the point. It is the most difficult task to be consistent and accurate. Especially with blogging things. Perhaps we should post on our blogs atleast once a week to be known to the world. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Mike
The same applies to me consistency. I have all the best intentions in the world but never seem to get the posts completed. My goals for 2009 are to try and blog twice a week consistently.
Consistency is a good thing even in the practical side of our life not just in blogging. Blogging consistently, say 2-3 times a week is a very practice, although it quite a hassle sometimes because there are moments that just don’t know what to say. It seems like idea and words are hiding from you… i have it when that moments come…
Blogging consistency is best way to retain your ranking. Consistent post on your blog is much better than any of the SEO method.
Really blog commenting is good way for improving site ranking in search engine.

I have learned this too, great original content as well as good backlinks is the key to having any standing in search engine results.
