There is quite a movement taking place in the internet marketing community right now – it’s the 30 day challenge.

The 30 day challenge is the brain child of Ed Raine and Ed Dale. The purpose of the 30 day challenge is to help new internet marketers make their first $10 in thirty days. The 30 day period starts on August 1st.

Let me tell you right now the cost – nothing, zilch, zero nada – It’s FREE!

This is my first 30 day challenge, so I’m not sure exactly what to expect. But, my understanding is that this challenge is really geared towards beginning internet marketers.

I don’t consider myself a beginning internet marketer, but there were a couple of things about the 30 day challenge that were intriguing to me.

1. There will be an emphasis on Web 2.0 techniques.

Unless you have been living without internet access (oh, how could I survive without it) you know that Web 2.0 is “IT”! Web 2.0 is the current rage and is transforming how we do things on the internet. To stay competitive in the online marketing environment, you need to have a good grasp on Web 2.0

I thought I had a good grasp of Web 2.0 – I don’t! The challenge has not started yet, but pre-season has begun, and I have already learned more about web 2.0 in pre-season than I had known before beginning this pre-season challenge.

2. Participants are encouraged to form teams and work together.

Those who are participating in the challenge are encouraged to form teams. I have been somewhat of a loner in my online marketing career, and wanted to us this challenge to build some relationships with people like me who were striving to make their living on the internet. I am part of a team of seven, and I am looking forward to getting to know each one of them.

It’s interesting to see the different types of teams that are being formed to work this 30 day challenge.

The are home schoolers participating as part of a school project. Now, that is cool!

There are teams forming from all over the world by country, region and even city. Teams of all different age groups (teenagers to 80s), male teams, female teams, and one of my favorites – the Nerd Table.

The 30 day challenge content is being delivered via audio pod casts and videos. The information presented so far has been great – I have learned more from the last few videos than I thought I would learn in the whole 30 days.

So, if you are a new to trying to make money on the internet, an intermediate internet marketer, or an expert guru – the 30 day challenge is for you.

I hope to do a daily blog as soon as the 30 day challenge starts. I want to give you a daily update on the tasks that I perform everyday.

I encourage you to join the 30 Day Challenge and follow along with this blog!

So, get ready to check back here on August 1st!

Until next time,
Mike
